How to - apply glitter or loose powder
I have struggled with this my self. I advise you first do the eyes when you apply glitter, because this can make a mess on your face so when your finished with your eyes you can clean your face and then go further with your face, also a thing what you can do is put many loose face powder under your eyes so the loose face powder can catch the fall out and you can brush the loose face powder with the fall out away.
You can apply loose powder or glitter with Vaseline but I don’t recommend that. Vaseline makes it al sticky specially when you open your eyes and the lid is stacked to the brow bone, would be funny to see but sad if your eyes get messed up.
You can apply loose powder or glitter with lash glue. Put the lash glue like you would on your eyelashes just wait for it to be sticky and than put the glitter on top of it. Make sure to use a brush that you don’t care about that much because it can ends up like a mess (I mean your brush). Also make sure of it that you don’t apply a thick layer of the lash glue because that can makes it harder to apply the glitter and all of it will bunch up and ends up in the crease.
But I think what would worked the best is an adhesive, you have many brands that have an adhesive in their collection.
La Splash - eye shadow base and sealer - $5.50, is very popular between the beauty guru’s and I find the la splash good as well (what I have seen so far) It is a cheap product and it works good. You can buy the sealer at Cherry culture.
Too faced - Shadow Insurance glitter glue - $18, it’s specially made for loose glitter or loose powder. The primer is similar to any other eye shadow primer but this one leaves a sticky feeling. You have hardly any fall out with it. Just apply it like an other primer and apply the glitter on top of it. You can buy the shadow insurance at Sephora.
Lit cosmetics - Clearly Liquid glitter Base - $22.95, a little goes a long way with this base. It doesn’t feel tacky and stays on the whole day, it almost feels like water. Lit cosmetics is made for the glitter fans, they have also a variety of glitters, they have every color you can think of. Just dip the brush that you use in the glitter base and remove the excess drops from the liquid than dip it in the glitter and apply it to the lid, or lash line what ever you want. This base is good as well because just a bit on the pricey side, but I think its worth the money. You can buy the Clearly liquid at http://www.litcosmetics.com/order.html
I hoped that I helped some of you out with the glitter and loose powder problem.
